well, it doesn't exactly seem like my life is going to slow down anytime soon. a little over a year ago, my husband was injured during PT. he has a severe labral tear in his hip now, and the tendon there (i forget what it's called) is also torn. after a VERY long process, he was set to have surgery last week. unfortunately the surgeon's opinion, based on what little data they have to go on, is that they don't have the proper technology and would actually make it worse were they to operate. he recommended immediately going civilian-side (which was going to happen anyway - he can't hardly walk now, let alone carry hundreds of pounds of gear or
